The third time really IS the charm! Lindley and I first scheduled her branding shoot for LAST December, ended up rescheduling for February, then FINALLY got to shoot in August. A combination of weather and Covid (but mostly Covid) kept us at bay, but when we did get together for her session, it was worth the wait. This girl is so, SO much fun- Lindley’s a wedding and branding photographer who splits her time between the Carolinas and DC, and spending the afternoon with her felt like falling in step with an old friend!

But let’s be honest- I knew I was going to like her when one of her first emails said “I actually didn’t even realize that you were near DC when I contacted you (I just saw your Harry Potter Halloween costume and was like, this girl…).”

We started off our time at one of her favorite hotels in the District, and ended at a more iconic spot in the city for one of those classic, white marble backgrounds we all love so much. And I didn’t even have to wait for my film to come back from the lab before feeling fully confident that this session was going to be an all.time.favorite.

Lindley- thank you for trusting me with these!! It was such fun to shoot for you, and I’m crossing my fingers we’ll get to do it again SOON :). You’re an absolute treat to shoot for and even MORE of a treat to simply be around!
