The odds were most definitely in his favor that day in probability class. He saw her sitting a few seats away, those bright blue eyes and that curly red hair catching his attention, so he did what any college guy would do: he found her name on the attendance sheet as it was passed to him, and then looked her up on Facebook. You have to admit, that’s pretty sly! Thankfully, that attendance sheet was just the lead Mark needed to get in contact with Jess, and a few short years later they were on their way down the aisle to say “I do.” Since their wedding day, Mark & Jess have committed to taking a trip to celebrate their anniversary every year, and to commemorate each trip with a portrait session. Lucky for me their third anniversary took them to DC, and we met up in Georgetown for one of my favorite anniversary sessions yet!
Mark & Jess, thank you so very much for such a fun morning! Your lightheartedness and playful banter was so much fun to behold, and I love, love, love how much value you place on celebrating the commitments you made on your wedding day three years ago. Thank you for allowing me to be the one to document the beginnings of year four :).
Happy Wednesday!
