At the heart of every solid marriage, there’s an underlying theme of friendship. Friendship and service. The knowledge that your partner in life is someone who will both cherish you as their beloved and enjoy your company as a best friend does. Josh & Lorinda’s first two years of acquaintance began just like that- as friends- and it couldn’t be more plain that they were made for each other. The way he brings out her laugh and makes her stunning blue eyes even brighter, the way she offers him her steadfast nature, slowing it down when things are passing too quickly. Smiles come easily between the two of them, so their wedding day was full of joyful grins and laughter. As family and friends gathered to watch Josh & Lorinda make their commitment to love and cherish forever, there was a sense of peace; these two have truly met their soulmate.
Josh & Lorinda, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for welcoming me with open arms to document such an important day in your lives. Thank for loving one another with abandon and for allowing me into your world long enough to freeze these precious moments forever. It’s been such a blessing to get to know you both over the past year! I hope the Dominican Republic’s sand and sun are giving you some much-needed relaxation!
Lorinda’s father is no longer with us, but I loved all of the little ways she kept him with her throughout the day- his cufflinks on her bouquet, a square of his shirt sewn into her dress…
Sparkler exits are the BEST!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Crain!

GORGEOUS. Especially love the last sparkler shot!!! Sooo romantic. You’re amazing, Abby!!!
The blue and orange men were the groom’s brother (orange) and brother-in-law (blue). Just a private Dumb and Dumber joke between the boys. 🙂
Beautiful setting, I love barn weddings. And those programs… adorable!
Love the warmth in the first images!! Greatly done Abby!
& the coke bottles, colorful decoration & super stylish prints!
