There’s nothing that flatters me more, or makes me more nervous, than when another photographer asks me to shoot them. Noooo pressure, right? It’ll just be someone with an extremely trained eye that I’m posing, photographing, and having look over the final product. But after last week’s session with Jeremy & Carrie, I really could not have been more relaxed. Or more joyful. I left their session with a huge smile on my face that lasted the entire drive home!

Jeremy and Carrie recently celebrated their ninth anniversary and seeing just how fiercely they care for one another left me dazed in the best way possible. They just moved to Virginia from Indiana so that Jeremy can attend seminary, meaning their photography business has the special challenge of relocating as well. New locations, new community, a new circle of clients. But something tells me they’re not going to have too much trouble- Jeremy & Carrie are, without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable couples I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with. Carrie is sweet, down-to-earth, and multi-talented (photographer/worship leader/former member of the Air Force) and Jeremy’s nature survival skills might just rival that of Bear Grylls. And the way they interact is so peaceful, so utterly content, it left me looking forward to my ninth anniversary. There are certain kinds of people that are just so full of love and joy that it leaves you breathless- that’s these two for you.

Jeremy & Carrie, thank you both so much for such an amazing morning. I hope our paths cross again soon, and I can’t wait to see what God has planned for you guys here in Virginia! I’m personally hoping it’s a long-time residency in my home state :).
