In one of our very first emails, Jordan told me that one of the moments she’s looking forward to the most on their wedding day is right after they’ve walked back down the aisle. I knew right away we’d get along famously, because that’s always one of my favorite moments as well! That unconstrained joy, the sweet bliss of officially being your beloved’s, and your beloved being yours. It’s one of my favorite things to witness and photograph, and I can’t wait for Jordan & Kyle to have their very own moment like that in October!

As these two currently reside in Chicago, it only felt appropriate to celebrate their engagement by photographing in their home town. It was a BRISK morning, but Kyle & Jordan were such troopers and their engagement session turned out SO beautifully- we had gorgeous morning light to keep us a little bit warmer, and spending the morning with them got me so very excited for this fall!

Jordan & Kyle, thank you for making my job incredibly easy (especially when it’s so cold you can barely feel your fingers!). I loved getting to know you both and capturing your interactions, and Jordan you just fit so perfectly into Kyle’s arms! Let’s do this again in a few months, just in more formal attire- sound good? Perfect- I’ll see you there :).
