If there were EVER a candidate for “most inspiring workspace ever,” it’s Wendy Conklin of Chair Whimsy. She’s a fan favorite over here at the AG water cooler, and when she emailed me about an upcoming feature of her studio in Where Women Create Magazine, my response was well of COURSE they want to feature you!

Color and patterns for days, joy in every corner of every room- Wendy’s home and studio are an absolute delight to behold! I’ve had the opportunity to shoot for Chair Whimsy four times now (fifth time coming up in just a few weeks!), and each time I step over the threshold of her home, I’m just as inspired as I was during my first visit to Round Rock, TX.

It was such a thrill to have the final print copy land in my mailbox, and an extra sweet surprise when I turned the page and saw my own face looking back at me! I *love* that this magazine also includes a bit about their contributing photographers- I’ve never seen that done before, and it was such a kindness to be included in the 16-page spread of images featuring Wendy’s home and workspace.
