Whew! My last wedding was in November but I only just now feel like the season is over (probably because I just blogged the wedding yesterday [I’m normally much faster than that!]). I LOVE wedding season and I love being up to my eyeballs in amazing clients and gorgeous sessions, but I have to admit: the prospect of being able to spend an PhotoShop-free evening with Matt sounds pretty good right about now. Oh and don’t even ask me the last time I made dinner for the two of us, because I honestly can’t remember. Unless microwaveable Brussels sprouts count?

Since I’ve finished all the editing and blogging for my clients this year, I’ll finally get to start with my images from some of my second shooting gigs, like when I shot with Terra in Aruba! I’ll also get the chance to work on a sweet PDF pricing guide with Wendy from Weswen Design, design a couple of albums, and shoot sessions for the sheer pleasure of photographing for myself. I’ve always wanted to venture into DC to photograph the buzz that takes place there, maybe that’ll be first on my list!

I can’t wait to take this season off to recharge and come back with more energy, more love and more determination in 2012. I’ll be brainstorming ways to truly pamper my brides and grooms and tweaking my website here and there to make it the best representation of ME as it possibly can be. Don’t worry, though! I’ll still be blogging my heart out over here! Posts will just be less session-based and more focused on things I’ve learned, personal projects, and if you’re lucky, I might throw in a DIY post here or there. 🙂
