This week has been cah-RAZY. The Date with Abby Grace photography workshop is tomorrow, so I’ve been running around like a crazy person trying to accomplish everything I was too intimidated to start a month and a half ago. But somehow, it’s all worked out- I think my mind just works more efficiently under a time crunch. There was this one time during my senior year at RU that I didn’t start studying for an Organizationl Communications test until 4 hours beforehand, realized I didn’t know ANYTHING I was studying, crammed as hard as I could, and somehow managed to stumble out of the testing room (after convincing myself I’d earned my first college “F”) with a 96. See? I work well under pressure! Not that I advocate waiting until the last minute for anything, but if it ends up that way, I know my brain kicks itself into high gear.

Tomorrow is going to be amazing. The nerves have definitely been getting to me this week, but I’m EXCITED. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned over the past few years in this industry, to get to know the awesome ladies who’re all coming, to hear the things they’re anxious about and to help shed light on ways to grow as business owners and artists. And I’m looking forward to being challenged. I know there will be questions that I can’t answer, or questions that force me to justify WHY I do something the way I do, so I’m eager to learn just as much as I’m eager to teach.

I’m off to go finish up my slides, and then a million other things before 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. Have an AMAZING Thursday, my friends! And wish us luck for tomorrow- it’s going to be awesome!
