How do I even beGIN to write a summary of their wedding day in just a few short paragraphs? I’ve known the Kampas since the third grade, and from the very beginning, I’ve known them as the kindest, most genuine family you ever did meet. So I knew from the moment I saw this Instagram announcing their engagement that their wedding day would be one filled with joy, love, and genuine gratefulness.

Courtney is, hands down, one of the most effortlessly graceful people I’ve ever met. She kills it in a red lip, and there’s just something undeniably classic about her air. And Will? He’s absolutely mad for her. She melts in his arms, and he gets that eye-crinkling smile that you only give when you’re with the one you’re meant for. And selfishly, listening to Parachute’s music is made all the better knowing that some of my favorite songs were written about Courtney.

Their wedding day was perfect. Despite the heat & rain, despite running slightly behind on timing, despite whatever minor hiccups can occur on a summer’s day in Virginia. It was perfect because, at the end of it, they were married. And nothing could dampen their ecstasy! Just nothing. From doing her own hair & makeup to getting ready with her sisters, from their sweet ceremony in the most darling Catholic church to Matt Wertz arriving in person to sing their first dance song, it was perfect.
