I first had the pleasure of meeting Wendy [of Weswen Design] last year when we began work on the Harry Potter Wedding Shoot, and I fell completely in love with her right from the start. She’s fun, hilarious, and incredibly talented- her designs blow my mind! Since the Potter shoot Wendy and I have collaborated on a few smaller projects, our most recent one being her business portraits! I was SO excited that she asked me to shoot some new photos for her- photographing friends is one of my favorite things to shoot. The sessions are always laid back and casual, and I don’t have to worry about friends not laughing at my stupid jokes.

The first thing Wendy said when she opened her door to greet me on the day of her session was “I feel fat and unattractive- it’s your job to make me feel pretty.” Did I mention she was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of our shoot? Yeah, you can’t tell at all from these photos- so unfair. Wendy you are one HOT mama!  

We began in her office for a few “Look how hard I work!” shots…

…and then headed into the older part of Leesburg to shoot around the little shops and pretty brick.
