Megan and William. Where to begin? I could tell you about how fierce of a competitor Meg is, or about how she’s going the be the CEO of some huge company in ten years (I’m sure of it), or about how she’s the classiest girl I know, or, well, you get the point. I’ve known Meg her entire entire life. Even if we weren’t cousins, we’d still be friends. Meg has known me the longest, and no matter how long we go without seeing each other, we pick up wherever we left off. “Our friendship is like a never ending conversation” (I got that off of a cheesy photo frame, sue me). She was my maid of honor for my wedding this past January, and I couldn’t have a better right hand woman or best friend to be with me through the process.

The beach has always played a role in my relationship with Meg and her family (my aunt, uncle and cousin Sarah)- I used to spend a week each summer at the beach with them. It was always the most fun week of my summer- I love reliving the adventures we had during family gatherings. Hey Meg! Remember that one time we went out to the back deck after dark to get something we left there, and the neighbors thought there were burglars and called your parents? Good times.

Anyways, Meg was spending her last undergraduate spring break at her family’s beach house in Bald Head Island and invited Matt and I to come down for the weekend. Meg’s boyfriend William was there for the week too, so we had a double date weekend, and it was a blast!

I wanted to get out and shoot some portraits around the island because a) BHI is ADORABLE and 2) she’d gorgeous! That blonde hair? Totally natural, not a drop of dye (it’s ok, I’m jealous too!). William was such a good sport and only ruined 12% of the photos with goofy faces. Kidding! It was only 11%.

Thanks for being my models for the day, Meg and William! I loooove these photos!
