This was one of those shoots that made me sit back and go “DAAAANG.” These women are on fire, and these photographs make them look like the absolute bosses and marketing sensations they are.

I first had the chance to shoot for Chess & Nickie last May (unbeknownst to me at the time, it was the day before Teddy was born!), and they’ve had quite a few exciting changes in the works! With a new offer they were ironing out we knew they needed a collection of photos that felt more editorial, clean, and high-level than what we captured last year. I had a feeling that a white studio was going to be our best bet for that higher-end feel, and as luck would have it, we found Rose & Salt Studio near Chess’s home in OKC!

We were on a tight timeline, and I knew we needed a combination of head shots, partner photos, and detail images. I offer quarter day shoots for my returning clients, and this was the PERFECT opportunity for that- a campaign-based session with laser-sharp focus.

We had just enough time to get everything we needed and swap outfits a couple times, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results- look how freaking sharp their new landing page is!

Photographers- would you believe this entire session was shot with OCF? We were in a gorgeous, all-white studio… but the natural light was coming in from the opposite side of the building, and I really wanted to shoot with the white wall as our backdrop. So I supplemented with a strobe + umbrella/diffuser setup, and I’m in LOVE with the result!
