Hey friends! Today’s blog post is a bit scattered- I’m in Charlotte, NC! Well, I’m technically in Fort Mill, SC, but it’s right next to Charlotte. Kind of like I’m from “the DC area” but in reality, I live 30 minutes outside of DC in Virginia. My best friend/MOH/cousin/childhood confidant MEGAN! is getting married next spring and we’re having a wedding planning weekend bonanza! So please excuse me while I slip off into a world of cakes, dresses and springtime nuptials for the weekend- this will be my first time being a bridesmaid and *just* a bridesmaid, and I’m planning to fully embrace it.

Also, you guys should be super proud of me: I spent a total of 8 hours on the road yesterday and I didn’t consume a SINGLE bag of Cheet-Os puffs. Pretty soon I’ll be going vegan or something. (not).

PS- This is one of the many reasons I LOVE the ShowIt community! I put out a “Who’s in Charlotte and wants to meet for coffee?” post in the ShowIteers Facebook group last night and come 11 am today? I have a new friend named Alicia White :). We’re having fun working from Starbucks today!
