The occupational hazard of being a brand photographer that attracts bada** female business owners is that I usually end up falling in love with my clients’ products and realize I desperately need them for myself.

Case in point: Emié Active.

I first came across this brand back in August, before it launched, and have been sitting on my hands waiting for these pieces to launch. The wait was WORTH IT- these pieces are everything they promise to be! Buttery soft, no chafe, no bounce- built by an average female runner, for average female runners. They’re absolute perfection!

Brittany, the founder and designer, is a runner herself, so she designed from a place of knowing what she WANTED, but couldn’t find on the market. Best place to start- find a gap in the market, fill it. And dang, did she fill it beautifully.

We scheduled two shoots in anticipation of the first Emié collection drop- one for lifestyle/brand vibes content, and the other for the e-comm side (think: product listing photos). I’m so grateful Brittany also brought in my girl Katherine Bignon for on-set styling and prop curation- that was such a help when we were on a tight timeline for the lifestyle shoot, and I loved being able to tag team with her for the studio portion!

The first collection went live last month and it brings me so much JOY to see the frequent tags and shares of Emié pieces! Personally? My favorite item for the entire collection is the Hot Girl Hydration Vest- she’s a 10.

Brittany, I can’t express what a thrill it’s been to walk with you through this launch- you DID IT, girl! I can’t wait to see what you come out with next- I’ll be waiting with CC in hand!
