I don’t know why I even bothered bringing my larger camera with me to Charleston- I never even took it out of the bag! Instead I used my trusty Yashica, a fun little twin lens reflex camera- it shoots in square format (or as Matt calls it, “Instagram before it was Instagram”).

The camera’s 35-40 years old and up until Charleston, I’d only ever shot black & white film with it. So this was my first attempt with color film in the Yashica, and I love how it turned out! I’m still getting used to focusing with it (you have to look DOWN into the viewfinder and use a focusing knob on the side), but I’m so pleased with how these came out.

Enjoy a few of my favorite frames from our girls’ week! I’m really looking forward to framing a couple of these in my office :).
