It all started with a residence hall. Shawn was Katie’s friend’s RA and he couldn’t help noticing her around campus. Things started to pick up speed through working together in CRU at Virginia Tech- working as a student leader for a campus organization meant spending more and more time together, but neither of them seemed to mind. Both Katie and Shawn were determined to remain single that year, but God had other plans for them and they kept crossing paths. After a few short weeks together, they knew this was it. They knew they belonged together. And so on a chilly day in February, Shawn asked if Katie would bind her heart with his and become his wife, forever the song in his soul.
Shawn and Katie, I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know you two over the past couple of months. You all fit together so perfectly and it’s so clear to me that you two, together, are exactly right. Thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of documenting your love!
