You may be asking yourself “what the heck is vlogging?” Or you may be thinking “girl, get yo’self some spell check.” Fear not, though- my spell check is working just fine. A vlog is a… video blog! Ashley Goodwin, a photographer I’ve recently started following, just blogged (well, vlogged) about a “30 Day Vlogging Challenge” that she’s participating in, so I thought I’d try my hand at it. This might be a trainwreck, though, so watch at your own risk.
A few things I’d like to preface this vlog with:
a) I’m aware my hair looks really stupid. I’ll try harder next time, as this was done on a complete whim.
2) I apologize for the number of times I say “um”- my public speaking professor would be ashamed. (Sorry, John!)
III) My voice sounds a lot higher on video than it does in my head. Oh well. Also, sorry for talking too fast! I’ll work on that for next time, too!
Whaddya think? A worthwhile experiment? Or should I stick to strictly text-and-photo blog posts?
