Welp, the end of my 2013 wedding season is here. I photographed my last wedding this past weekend in Puerto Rico (talk about going out with a bang!), I’ve finished up engagement sessions, and I’m excited to start resting and recharging. The off-season is officially upon me! One of my favorite kind of posts that I see from other photographers around this time of year is a collection of behind the scenes photos that their assistant(s) shot throughout the year. I never planned ahead enough to do one of these until this past year, so may I present, for the first time, the most ridiculous collection of images of myself that you’ll ever find in one place. Feel free to laugh, I sure as heck did!
I love everything that’s going on in this image. Alex has her fierce face on, Seamus is completely engrossed in his beautiful bride, and I look like I’m giving them directions to the local museum.
Sashaying + shooting because you’re standing in the middle of the road in Baltimore is no joke.
Violent dancing. (Heather’s poor mom!)
That’s my “Sasha Fierce” face, apparently.
That time my brother Ethan assisted me for a couple of weddings! Check out that ‘stache, yo. He looks like he came straight of the Civil War era.
Dog walking: just one of the many services I offer on wedding days.
Test shot from Matt- I just really liked my dress :).
I think I was trying to use the force to adjust Jeff & Tracy’s pose?
Didja laugh? Good!
