I’m what you’d call a bold person- if an opportunity presents itself, and it’s something I want, and I have very little time to decide whether or not to go for it, 99 times out of 100, I go for it. This is a story of that kind of thing.

So I was leaving Mike & Jen’s wedding on Saturday night and as I waited at the concierge desk, I saw several tall gentlemen working their way toward the door, and I thought to myself “hey you know what? That guy looks a lot like Dean Forrester from Gilmore Girls. I wonder if anyone’s ever told him– OH MY GOSH THAT IS DEAN!!!”

And then I proceeded to do the most fangirliest thing possible and I walked out after them and creepily came around the corner to ask if I could have a photograph with him [him being Jared Padalecki, aka Dean Forrester from Gilmore Girls]. And it turned out the two guys with him, Jensen Ackles (isn’t that an awesome name?!) & Jake Abel, are his co-stars on Supernatural, so I got a photo with all three gents! They were SO nice about it!

After asking me what on earth I’d been doing all day (since I had all my wedding stuff in my arms), I told them I’d shot a wedding there at the hotel. And Jake said something about “oh yeah! I saw you climbing through the flowers earlier today as you were shooting,” so I told him I practice a rare form of wedding photography called “guerilla photography.” You know, like photography IN the trenches of a wedding. It was a moment, I tell you- no doubt I left an impression. I bet they’ll remember that conversation for the rest of their lives. [not]

So I tweeted the photo out and tagged the guys to say “thanks!” for humoring me, and then it got retweeted almost 400 times. So that was fun!

Moral of the story: there is no moral. I just wanted to share the story with you guys because I was a tad bit starstruck driving out of DC that night! Happy Tuesday!
