Every year, I seem to miss more and more of the Christmas season. When I was in college, Christmas didn’t really start until I got home from school, so I had a week to cram in all of my shopping, caroling (in the car on the way to the mall) and general Christmas cheer. This year, I could have sworn Thanksgiving was last week.

So from now until the end of the year, I’m going to be the epitome of holiday spirit. I will wear red every day, I will listen to nothing but Christmas music (except for that song “Christmas Shoes”- I can’t stand that one!), I will bake cookies for the sake of baking cookies, and I might even go out and buy some of those jingle bell earrings that will no doubt give me a headache within the hour. All for the sake of cramming as many tidings of joy as I can to make up for the past few weeks of feeling like I missed out. Ready…. GO!

See that awesome gift tag? You’ll get to view more of these little treasures later on this week, courtesy of my friend Weswen Design, Designer Extraordinaire (I added on that last bit, but it’s true).

Happy Wednesday!

Where did December go?

I hear you on the college week to cram everything Christmas in.. Never enough time!

  2. Mary Marantz says:

Love it! And I’m TOTALLY with you on the Christmas Shoes song!!

    Happy Holidays!
    M:)

  3. This post makes me generally happy except for your hatred of that one song. I love ALL Christmas music!!!!!!!!!! Even the hippopotamus song!

  4. Oooh looks so good, can’t wait to see more!!!! I can’t stand the song Little Drummer Boy….

  5. Ashley says:

I can definitely relate to you on this one. Shawn and I were just talking about how fast the season has gone by. I haven’t even gotten through all the classic Christmas movies yet! The real message is we all need to slow down and appreciate what Christmas is all about. Good luck cramming in all your holiday cheer these next few days! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

  6. Elizabeth says:

I second the dread of the Christmas Shoes song!! lol. Almost every time I read one of your posts I realize that we have something little in common 🙂

ENJOY every minute of the Christmas season that is left! A few years ago in our family we started extending Christmas-y activities through New Year, and it made the season feel so much longer, plus helped with the inevitable crash on the 26nd!

  7. Jean Hensley says:

Take it all in and enjoy this beautiful season. Merry Christmas!
