As soon as Cyndi’s email hit my inbox, I knew we were in for a wild time- she’s a travel expert, agency owner, Disney aficionado, and a complete BA of a business owner. On our first call, she was wearing a Buzz Lightyear headband, and I had no chill about it- Cyndi Williams is so much fun. 

Because Cyndi’s business encompasses multiple brands (Wanderlust Campus, Careers on Vacation, Wanderlust Social, and Tripsy), and because she uses her photos literally EVERYWHERE (freakin love it when that happens!), we had our work cut out for us. We ended up schedule two separate, full-day sessions, spaced two weeks apart, to cover all her bases- today’s post will give you a peek at the Austin, TX session… and you’ll have to come back next week to find out where session #2 was :).

We spent this first full-day session photographing for all things Wanderlust Campus, the home of all of Cyndi’s travel agent school (the largest one in the country!). Cyndi’s and her team run like a well-oiled machine, and that means producing a lot of content- YouTube episodes, a podcast show, social media on the regular, and more. So we focused on creating visuals that showed her off as the travel industry expert that she is, in formats that would give her as MUCH flexibility across her channels as possible.

But we also wanted to show the travel lifestyle component, because Cyndi obviously spends a noteworthy amount of time in beautiful places. So in addition to some of the more “standard” fare, we also made sure to incorporate a plan to show her on the go, and enjoying the entire travel vibe. 

I’m THRILLED with what we ended up with, and the entire day got  me positively buzzing to have Cyndi in front of my camera again just 14 days later! More on that soon, but for now, enjoy a few of my favorites from Austin!
