Summer. My favorite season. To me, there’s no better feeling that being a girl in summer. Rolling the windows down, turning the music up, messing your hair for the sake of sweet freedom. The feel of a sundress brushing against the back of your bare legs, that first smell of sunscreen in June that takes you back to hours at the pool, days at the beach. Plus all of those late, warm nights, the sound of crickets, and the wink of a firefly, gone as soon as turn for a second look.
