I’m nursing a pretty epic wedding hangover today, because that’s what happens when you do two weddings in two days and forget to drink any water :). So pardon today’s shorter-than-usual post! I’m also prepping for tomorrow’s webinar, Make Booking Great Again, so needless to say, it’s been a little nuts around the Springmann household recently.

As always, lessons learned/events that transpired over the past week:

• We’ve recently become hooked on New Girl and evert time Zooey Deschanel sings something into an everyday conversation, I’m more and more convinced that she and I would be GREAT friends in real life.
• Our baseball team, the Nationals, made it to the post-season again this year. And again, they failed to make it past the first round of playoffs. Matt & I swore we were done with baseball for the year after the Nats’ last game… and yet I found myself tuned into the Cubs game driving home on Saturday night. So much for that resolution…
• That rough period of time when your laptop needs a repair, but you’re in the middle of wedding season and can’t live without a mobile computer for the duration of the time it would take to fix. GAH.
• Sometimes, my job forces me to make terrible food decisions. Like that time [yesterday] when I had a cappuccino, two cups of coffee, a Monster energy drink, AND a mountain dew all in one day.
• And then we stopped for ice cream on the way home. Don’t worry, I’m going to the gym today.
