This weekend was AWESOME. I photographed an amazing wedding for one of the most adorably-in-love couples I’ve ever seen, we spent yesterday celebrating each of our dads, and then I got to photograph another amazing couple this morning! I have a feeling this is going to be a GOOD week :).

Lessons learned from this weekend:

  • Two-year-olds cannot be trusted to appropriately dispense dog treats to puppies- they end up feeding the puppy WAY too much, and said puppy gets sick. Ew.
  • But you just can’t get mad at said two-year-old because so darn precious, and runs around asking “Where’s Lely?” (not a typo- that’s how she pronounces Lily’s name)
  • I’ve learned that posing groomsmen, especially when they’re in dress military uniform, is a lot easier when you just tell them to “bro it out.”
  • Parking in old town Annapolis = hard. Just pay for parking.
  • This one-light set-up SAVED MY LIFE at Saturday’s wedding! New best friend for dark reception spaces.
  • This week’s blog posts are going to be chocked full of gorgeous couples and pretty portrait sessions- definitely stay tuned!

Check out this preview from Jamie and Abbeigh’s wedding! More on the blog next week!
