Well folks I’m not sure if you’re aware, but today is the BEST Monday ever! Why? Because instead of getting up, scrambling to find a pair of already-ironed dress pants, and driving 20 minutes to go work for somebody else, I took my time sauntering into my own office in my own apartment to spend the day working for ME! This is going to take a little getting used to, but so far I’m loving it :).

Some things I learned this weekend!

• When driving through monsoon-type rainstorms, having Jim Dale in the background reading Harry Potter can be quite the soothing influence.
• If Lily disappears under the couch and sits contently without making noise for an extended period of time, she’s probably chewing on something important. Like, say, your FAVORITE PAIR OF RAINBOWS. She chewed almost all the way through the strap on my left flip flop. Not one of her most endearing moments.
• Sunday nights are no longer the worst time of the week :).
• When ordering camera equipment from other countries, it’s unreasonable to be shocked when the accompanying manual arrives in Italian.
• In relation to the above, no matter how many years of French you took, you cannot read Italian. Even WITH the accompanying pictures.
