They met in youth group- he can’t remember their exact first meeting, just that she slowly started to fade into the forefront of his memories of times with their group of friends. Anna’s sweet, quiet spirit drew his attention, and she found herself falling in love with his leadership, steadfast nature, and that he told her he’d wait for her, as long as it took. Each of them vastly more mature than most their age, they knew that being intentional with their relationship and careful with their hearts was of the utmost importance. And so it was that their first kiss as husband and wife was also the first kiss of their entire relationship, because waiting? Waiting was worth the reward.
Mike & Anna, your love for the Lord and your faithfulness throughout your relationship is such evidence of Christ at work in your lives! Thank you, so so much, for the chance to document your love. I count it as the highest of honors to have been the one to photograph your first kiss ever! Here’s to hoping Cancun is full on sunshine, cold drinks by the pool, and an amazing beginning to your marriage.
