I’ve started and deleted this post more times than I can count by now. Writing about a new little life is so DIFFERENT than writing about a couple’s love story! Although, truth be told, I probably could write about Jeff & Ginny’s love story, seeing as we all went to high school and college together. They’re high school sweethearts, and they’re perfect for each other to the very core. Their engagement session was actually only the second I ever shot, and I’ve been so BLESSED to have had the chance to get to know each of them more over the past couple of years. I don’t typically shoot anything other than couples, but during the “off-season,” when things are slightly less chaotic, I’m finding that I really love how shooting for close friends and family stretches and pushes me. Photographing miss Olivia was most definitely a challenge, but I loved every moment of it. She was such a dream, sleeping most of the session, but making sure to wake up once or twice to give a peek into those bright eyes of hers.

Jeff, Ginny, Olivia & Lincoln, thank you so much for inviting me into your home, for trusting me to document such a treasured season of your lives. I hope you love these images as much as I do!
