I’ve known Wendy since I was seven years old. She and her family were at the same church where I grew up, and I distinctly remember Wendy being the one to teach me that if you slooowly add in the cheese mix to Kraft’s Macaroni & Cheese, instead of just dumping it in all at once, it made for a smoother texture in the end. Culinary genius, I tell you.
She was my babysitter for a while, and things were ALWAYS fun when Wendy was there. She’s got that infectious sort of spirit- reckless in her pursuit of laughter and adventure, pulling you along for the ride in a way that makes you wish you’d hopped on the train long before. So when she told me about Joe, how she’d found the one she was meant to be with, I could only imagine the fun they must have together. And their engagement session was such a testament to how perfect these two are together! Laughing, smiling, kissing and dancing; despite the freezing temperatures and chilling mist in the air, this was one of the warmest engagement sessions I’ve ever had the joy of documenting.
Joe & Wendy, thank you so much for loving as audaciously as you do. Witnessing you together was unspeakably encouraging, and I can’t wait to see you tie the knot!
