Sometimes while I’m editing, Matt will occasionally look over my shoulder and ask questions. This particular conversation happened while editing Robbie and Juliann’s e-session this past weekend.
“Did she change outfits?” “Yep!”
Twenty minutes later…
“Did she change outfits again?”“Yes, love.” “Wait, did he change his outfit?” “Yes, honey, why are you so surprised?” “Well, because we had two engagement sessions and didn’t change clothes during either of them.” “That’s because I wasn’t shooting a lot of e-sessions at the point, and I didn’t really know what I was doing.” “Oooh. That makes sense.”

Abby, would you be interested in doing a post on… well… i’m not sure what it would be called… but on photography session manners?? I really don’t know anything about how to “act” or what to do during a photo session… like, how to work with your photographer. For instance, I never would have bothered with wardrobe changes (if we had had an engagement session), but now I see that it is pretty important.
I don’t know how much sense that makes :-p
I like Elizabeth’s suggestion! Joshua and I had a friend take our photos and I love them but never thought to change clothes either. Plus it’s cool to know what the photographer would like or what would be helpful to them.
