If you’ve been around the AGP water cooler for a while, you’ll recognize this particularly talented human! Emily has been our family photographer since before we were officially a family- she was there for Felix’s birth, for when we met Teddy, she’s done both our boys’ newborn portraits (plus countless other sessions we’ve been lucky enough to have with her!), and she is, simply put, the best in her market. Her dreamy studio sessions are a treat to behold, but they’re even BETTER to experience for yourself! As someone who’s been in front of Emily’s camera as many times as I have, she makes the process SO EASY on her clients. She has client wardrobes for her moms AND babies + toddlers, so there’s no panic-shop for your own outfits ahead of time (one of my least favorite tasks). And the sessions themselves are SO relaxed- she’s such a pro, and I know that when we have photos with Emily on the calendar, it isn’t going to be a source of stress.

And THAT was what we wanted to capture all the more pointedly in this latest shoot. I photographed Emily’s first brand session in 2019, and this time around we wanted to show more than just BTS of “here’s Emily with a camera and a baby.” We wanted to show how personable her sessions are, how relaxed the experience is for new mamas & babies.

Emily’s kiddos are a HUGE part of how she’s fashioned her business, customizing her hours to make it possible to spend ample time in Mama mode, so it was really important that we showcase that side of her brand as well. To be honest, the images with her kids are my favorites of the entire session- I love watching Em with her littles, and watching Henry & Lou flip through all the albums Emily’s put together of their family from over the years was the reminder I needed to print my own family photos. 

Emily, you are a gift and a blessing to my family. Thank you for all of the beautiful moments you’ve captured for us over the years- it was an inexpressible joy to be able to turn the tables and have you in front of my camera once more. I’m grateful for your trust as a client, and even more grateful for you friendship!
