He kept running through all of his lists in his head, sure there was something he’d missed. They’d spent so long planning this day and now that it was finally here, there was an overwhelming sense of anticipation. So many hours, days, weeks had been poured into making their wedding day one that reflected them as a couple; personal, intimate, that sort of welcome that warms your soul, and they couldn’t wait to see this vision come to life. He wanted it for her, to see her smile and make her laugh.
She was her calm, steady self as the morning progressed- through hair and make-up, she kept it together. But once the dress came out and it was time to thread the laces, the nerves set it. That slight tremble of the hands due to excitement, those nervous smiles that found their way onto her face every few seconds. Their story was one twelve years in the making. High school sweethearts since the eleventh grade, best of friends, lovers of surprises and gift giving, exquisitely thoughtful of all around them. Their wedding day was a reflection of all of that- from the fact that they kept all of their plans under wraps to the way the path through the gardens kept things hidden from view under just the right time, these two wanted the day to be relaxing and enjoyable for every single one of their guests.
Eddie & Priyanka, I can’t begin to tell you how much I love you both. From the first time we met for drinks to your proposal, from your relaxed engagement session to the last frame on your wedding day, it’s been nothing short of a joy to be your wedding photographer and call you both friends. Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for the opportunity to capture your memories!
