Talk about dream couples: Katie & I first spoke over email a few years ago while she was dancing for a professional ballet company in Israel. She’d just started her own line of dancewear, and while our paths didn’t manage to cross then in terms of working together, I was definitely following along with her new business! So imagine my delight when Katie emails again a few months ago to tell me she was newly engaged! How many different ways can I say “YES!” without looking uncool?

Their engagement portraits were, naturally, perfection. Despite the near-freezing temperatures (and wind!) that morning, they snuggled up like absolute champs, never complaining once! When Ben wrapped Katie up in his arms she tucked her arms in and looked absolutely content- “is that your happy place?” “Mmhmm!” I love them.  Like, a lot.

Ben & Katie, thank you for the best Spring morning possible! The cherry blossoms must have known y’all were coming because they certainly brought their A-game :). It was such a joy to have you both in front of my camera, and I am SO EXCITED to have the opportunity again in October!!
