After moving to Frederick from Savannah, Anna was just looking to meet people. People in general, not necessarily “the one.” So she took a chance and signed up for an online dating account. But just to meet people, she said. And then Matt’s dating profile came into view, and everything changed. That account was eventually deactivated because she didn’t need it anymore- she’d found everything she never knew she was looking for in Matt.

He knew from their second date that she was made for him, so it was just a matter of time before things became officially official. Sweet, unsuspecting Anna had no idea what was in store for her when Matt led her down to the beach on the 4th of July on the pretense of beachcombing. As they walked along with the metal detector it started beeping with more and more insistence, until Matt dropped to his knees, began digging, and unearthed the most beautiful diamond ring Anna had ever seen. Kneeling on the sand, Matt took her hand and asked if she would be his forever by becoming his wife, and Anna’s smiles and joyous tears were all he needed to see.

Matt and Anna, your love is precious, rare and ever so real. I can’t tell you how much I loved spending the evening with you both! You two are so lovely, so perfectly made for each other- your love truly touched my heart. Only 18 days til you’re MARRIED! Come on, May 26th!

We began in Historic Frederick, Maryland…

Anna is a photographer(!), so she knows how to KILL IT when in front of the camera! It also meant I was approximately 28x more nervous about their e-session, but both Matt and Anna made it so easy on me. (thanks, you two!)
