It began at the library on JMU’s campus. He spied her sitting at a table with one of her girlfriends, and his first thought was something like “she’s way too gorgeous to go out with me.” So at the prodding of John’s small group leader, he asked her on a date as a dare (via a piece of paper), and she jokingly said yes. What started out as a laugh turned into something real though, and three and a half years later when he asked for her everlasting love with a sparkly ring and fireworks in the background, her “yes” was authentic and completely genuine.

John and Hannah, I love you two. Your laughs are contagious, your smiles are beautiful, and you fit together like a jigsaw puzzle- designed for one another and perfectly complementary. Thank you so much for letting me into your love for a cold afternoon in Richmond- I am so SO excited to document your love again at your wedding this summer!

We began at the Main Street Station

And then there was a 13 minute blizzard!

It was frigid outside so we headed into the warmth of the Urban Farmhouse Market. It’s the adorable coffee shop/cafe and if you’re in Richmond you simply MUST visit!
