This session is so meta- a brand photographer photographing a brand session for another brand photographer. And dang, this was a GOOD one!!

Lisa’s name first came into my world last year when she sent me a DM with a question about Lighting The Brand Session, which meant when her inquiry for brand photographs landed in my inbox, I was all the more thrilled! Lisa is an incredible photographer (see her work here!)- she has such an eye for quality light, decor, and composition. It’s always a little intimidating to create for another photographer, but knowing your client trusts you makes all the difference in the world.

Her Alexandria home made the perfect backdrop for the first half of our shoot, and then we moved over to Studio Oronoco for the second half! The gorgeous hand-painted Lindale Studios backdrop made the *perfect* accent both for Lisa’s portraits and for the “BTS” portion of her shoot. In order to show Lisa on the job, she had one of her own clients come in to model for her shoot, and as we photographers do, of COURSE Lisa managed to create some portfolio-worthy material for her client during her own shoot. I loved watching her create and interact, and it made the final product feel all the more authentic!

Lisa, thank you so much for trusting me with these! I know how precious it is to allow someone else in to do your own craft for your benefit, and I truly loved every minute of our time together. You take such joy in your craft and your life at home, it was a gift to witness and capture. Thank you, thank you!
