I don’t know how to process what’s gone down in the past 4 days. Taking a look at my schedule from September to October, I’m supposed to be incredibly stressed out right now. Literally every weekend is booked with 2 or more events- weddings, e-sessions, portraits, etc. I was anticipating carrying around that constant feeling of a tight chest due to anxiety from approximately September 1st- October 31st.

What I wasn’t expecting was to feel blissfully blessed, one cloud nine, incredibly loved and provided for. The super secret project that myself, Captiol Romance, Voila! Event Studio and several other incredibly talented vendors have been working towards for five months finally came to fruition this past Sunday. IT. WAS. AMAZING. It’s killing me not to share these images with you all!

I knew that, as I’m leaving for Aruba tomorrow for 5 days, I was going to really going to have to stretch myself to get the images done and submitted before I leave. By God’s divine providence, I was somehow done by yesterday. So I submitted to my favorite wedding blog, one I’ve been stalking for over a year now. I was a mess, sitting in front of the computer, watching my images upload to Two Bright Lights. I was expecting to wait anywhere from one to three weeks for an email to tell me whether or not it had been accepted.

What I wasn’t expecting was an e-mail, 25 minutes later, saying “Congratulations! Your submission was accepted for publication at Green Wedding Shoes!” Excited? You could say that. “Freaking out” may be a bit more accurate of a term.
