Abby Grace Photography is a Washington DC and northern Virginia wedding, engagement and portrait photographer.
So this is the part where I’m supposed to tell you “I always knew I was going to be a photographer,” bla bla bla. I wish I’d always known- that would have made picking a major a heck of a lot easier!
The truth is, though, that I only first started really messing around with photography when I took a dark room class during the second half of my junior year in college. After my first few rolls of film came out better than I’d hoped for, I knew I’d found something I could be passionate about. I bought my first professional-grade DSLR camera on a hunch, crossed my fingers, shot a wedding three days later as an assistant and I’ve never looked back. A wise woman once told me that if she could manage to use her passion as a means to making a living, she’d never truly work another day in her life. That’s how I feel about photography.
If you’ve ever had the chance to meet me, you can testify to my passionate and outgoing nature. I use the term “I love __” a LOT. But that’s not because I like to exaggerate- I just have a lot of love in my life, and sometimes it overflows! Here’s a list of a few things I love:
