A few months ago, I had this urge to shoot one of my ballerina sessions with an antique ladder. I don’t know why, it just stuck with me! And so my first order of business was to find said vintage ladder. Who else would I go to for that sort of thing but Paisley & Jade? Plus, their studio space? It’s STUNNING. All that natural light was just begging for a ballerina!

And then when LeeAnn & Christa both responded to say they’d be up for a trip to Richmond for a shoot, it was like all my Degas dreams were coming true. These two are some of my favorites- this was my third time photographing each of them, but the first time we got to shoot together! And honestly? I think this is my favorite iteration yet.
