I met Sarah before Matt and I were married, so… close to 8 years now! And since before meeting, I’ve admired her- first for her work, then, after having the chance to get to know her, for her character and fierce love of God. She’s an amazing encourager and truth-speaker, and is one of my “people”- you know, the couple of friends you have on speed dial (is that even a thing anymore?) for when you’re in a pickle or need sage advice on all things life, business, and beyond. Her deep knowledge of Scripture is one of my favorite sides of Sarah.

And then when Buck came in the picture a few years ago, things got even MORE amazing- because as much as I loved Sarah before, I love her even MORE now that they’re married! Buck is hilarious and knowledgeable, compassionate and generous. But most of all, I love seeing how much joy he brings out in Sarah. They’re playful and fun together, and they haven’t lost the sense of wonder and delight that’s more typical of newlyweds than it is of couples five years in, parents to a toddler. And I LOVE THAT ABOUT THEM.

Buck & Sarah, thank you so much for making time for these portraits during your dream trip in Provence & Paris! It was an honor to capture you both, and I feel like I know you even better as a result. Lots and lots of love to you both!!
