I’ve known Kerith since my freshman year at RU- she was in my Introduction to PR class with Dr. Webster. I remember hearing her say one day that she was from SOuth Africa, and I totally had a Karen-from-Mean-Girls moment. It only took a couple of months for me to realize that Kerith was a force to be reckoned with- she knew her stuff, she was super involved at Radford, and she had such a go-getter attitude that I KNEW she was going to do big things. Sure enough, not even two years out of colleg, Kerith is already the Director of Social Media for a fitness chain. This girl knows how to work the social networking world like nobody’s business, which is why I don’t think anyone was surprised when she began her own business as a social media consultant for small businesses, Be Sociable. (Shameless plug- if you’re a small business and you’re finding you need help with promoting your business’ web presence? You NEED to contact Kerith. She rocks.)

Fortunately for me, Kerith recognized the importance of having professional-yet-personable photos of yourself on your business’ website, so she called me up. I ALWAYS love having the chance to photograph friends so I was totally on board, and even more excited when Kerith agreed to a session at dawn )my favorite time) in Reston Town Center (my favorite place). Win win for everyone!

Friends? Meet Kerith :).

Kerith tried to start off her session by warning me that she doesn’t photograph well. “LIES!!” I bellowed at her when I saw these on the back of my camera.
