I won’t say that I love Halloween (it’s never really been a big deal in my family) but I will say that I LOVE trick or treaters! I get so excited when I hear that little knock on the door from a hand too small to make any more noise, and then the excited (sometimes muffled, due to a mask) “Trick or Treat!” when I throw open the door. But sadly, as we live on the third floor, we only had four knocks last night. Our neighbor informed us that a lot of the kids in our complex head over to the town house development next door because it’s easier, which makes sense, but was disappointing all the same. However, we now have new criteria for our next housing search: TOWN HOUSE. For trick or treaters. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, right?

This year I decided I really wanted to have a legitimate costume (as opposed to last year‘s SORRY last-minute attempt), so I set out to work early. Of course, I left the tiara that I needed to the very last-minute and ended up having to buy a jeweled hair comb and bend it back on itself to make my hair adornment, but it all worked out!

Can you get any classier than Audrey Hepburn? I don’t think so. What did you all dress up as??
