She says they met in 6th grade, but he staunchly maintains it was fourth. She rolls her eyes, but secretly, you can tell she’s pleased he remembers. “What was the first thing he said to you?” I ask. Neither of them can recall, but it doesn’t matter. What matters is that over time, they grew past elementary school crushes and fell selflessly in love with one another. While they both may hesitate when making everyday decisions, but there was no question in Rob’s mind who he wanted for the rest of forever.

I had the pleasure of spending the evening at Barrel Oak Winery with Rob and Sarah this past weekend for their engagement shoot, and it was nothing short of absolute lovelyness. From laying among the tall grasses to walking through the vineyards, their quiet, humble love was a blessing to document. I can’t wait for your wedding in January!
